NOT JUST WORDS
Wake County needs a District 3 representative who has real-life experience that matches the priorities of county, and, ultimately, someone who will effect change.
This is why I am running for Wake County Commissioner - District 3.
My life, community and career experience has prepared me to be the best representative for you and Wake County. I have:
taught in the classroom, and have and always will support teachers and students;
collaborated with political, community, and business plus religious leaders in the implementation of successful health programs;
developed partnerships in support of building affordable housing in Wake County;
organized several neighborhoods for much needed traffic improvements;
spoke at public hearings about the need for improved Wake County Transit and Transportation for all citizens;
campaigned and endorsed bond funding for parks, open space and greenways;
worked with law enforcement and our community to ensure that there is trust and commitment to all people’s safety; and
been Chair and member of the Wake County Commissioner for Women and Wake County Community Health Needs Assessment for two terms.
The common theme is action, not just words.
